TOURIST VISA

For a Tourist Visa for Libya, the following documents are required:

PASSPORT – must be valid for more than 6 months after travel and contain two blank adjacent pages. The passport must be free of immigration stamps to Israel.

APPLICATION FORM – fully completed and signed in black ink and block capitals. Download application form by clicking HERE

2 x PASSPORT PHOTOS – we suggest you follow the UK passport office guidelines when having the photo taken – https://www.gov.uk/photos-for-passports

PROOF OF TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS – flight itinerary and accommodation confirmation

PROOF OF APPROVAL – this must be provided as a copy of the visa reference number from a tour agent that is based in Libya

PROOF OF EMPLOYMENT – An original letter of employment from the applicant’s UK employer. Students must submit a letter with similar content from their college/university. This letter must:

  • Be on company letterhead paper
  • Include the name of the applicant
  • Include the start date and position held in the company
  • Confirm that the applicant is an employee of the company
  • Specify the purpose of journey
  • State the applicant’s expected date of leave and return to work date
  • Include the company registration number
  • Be signed by the applicant’s supervisor or the company’s HR department
  • Be written within one month of visa application submission

Business Visa

For a Business Visa for Libya, the following documents are required:

TRANSIT VISA

Visa exempt for a stay of up to 24 hours. The traveller must:

Continue journey on the same calendar day

Hold a passport valid for period of intended stay with one blank visa page

Show proof of sufficient funds

Show proof of onward/return airline tickets

Hold all documents required for the next destination

Hold visa for next country where applicable

Confirm with their airline that boarding will be permitted without a visa as these conditions are subject to change

WORK VISA

For a Work Visa for Libya, the following documents are required:

PASSPORT – must be valid for more than 6 months after travel and contain two blank adjacent pages. The passport must be free of immigration stamps to Israel.
